Pedro, a name synonymous with modern luxury. This independent boutique presents a line of footwear that effortlessly fuses together timeless classical styles with international flair.
On September 16, 2015, Pedro unveiled their breathtaking Fall Winter 2015 Collection. This eclectic range embraces monochromatic themes as well as stark vibrant colours however, it’s the flamboyant yet immaculate workmanship that grasped my attention. I was able to try on some of the shoes during the event and I was delighted to find out that not only are these shoes works of art but they’re super comfy as well. This combination of style and comfort is a rarity within high-fashion, especially when it comes to footwear. Many shoes focus on heel height and elegance at the expense of their owner’s suffering feet. Not case with Pero – you can glide around a lounge bar with the same ease as you can in your lounge at home wearing your favourite pair of slippers. I met Pero’s lovely brand manager Sherleen who came all the way from Singapore, she was also wearing the same Pedro shoes I chose. When I commented on how comfy they were, she smiled and told me that she’d been wearing the same pair all day – Pedro is most certainly a brand to watch out for.
